De Brakke Grond: ADE Playground’s new hub
Amsterdam Dance Event 2015 at De Brakke Grond
At De Brakke grond you can test the latest gear from leading brands, talk to your musical heroes and grab a coffee and a magazine while you're at it.
De Brakke Grond will be the dedicated area for music lovers, tech freaks and DJs/producers as it acts as the new heart for ADE Playground in 2015, during the Amsterdam Dance Event 14 - 18 October.
As part of ADE Playground established tech firms Native Instruments and Pioneer DJ will be on hand exhibiting their latest gear while product experts and leading performers will be there to provide masterclasses, running users through their new gear.
The Pioneer DJ event kicks off on Thursday at 5pm, when World-DMC-title-winning turntablist Jon1st does what he does best on the manufacturer’s PLX-1000 decks. For the second run, Pioneer DJ invited Bristol-based Eats Everything to record a set of musical oddities on Friday, 5.30pm. Visitors can get their hands on some of the products too, as Pioneer DJ organises workshops for their new rekordbox dj Plus Pack. Lead by Jeroen Groenendijk, these short sessions bring you up to par with the software’s features and functions, allowing you to ask questions where needed. To top that off, you can have a go with the new rekordbox dj controllers: the DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX.
But there will also be panels, interviews and lot's more happening.
On top of all that De Brakke Grond will also be the hub for this year’s MusicTalks, featuring some of the biggest artists of the festival including Afrojack, Roger Sanchez, Camo & Krooked, Secret Cinema, Ron Trent & Antal, Martin Garrix & Team and DJ Pierre.
