Duncan Speakman experiments with wordless audiotours

Audio nudging in the city

How much can we do without text, just sound and music, to suggest a way of being and change the way people move or respond in uncontrolled environments. Artist Duncan Speakman resided in De Brakke Grond during our Hack/Play theme month in the spring of 2015 and worked on some of his 'audio nudging'  and ' urban playing' projects. He sent some human lab rats out into the city, letting music guide their actions. Watch the video on his work during his stay in Amsterdam.
