Meet the curators of Oorzaken Festival 2016
Three days long the audio festival Oorzaken brought an ode to audio stories with work from around the globe and premières of commissioned projects. But who were the curators of the festival? Let's introduce them to you!
Veerle Devreese (1986) is an arts and culture programmer at De Brakke Grond. She develops groundbreaking artistic programmes on social issues such as the future of labour (in collaboration with Droog Design) or that of our memory (in cooperation with the KNAW). New storytelling methods are the continuous focus of, among other things, the IDFA DocLab programmes, as part of collaboration with Fiber and also by organising audio events.
